A tukel is a high quality room with 2 large single beds (2m x 1m). There is a bathroom with shower. All rooms have under-floor heating by solar (which of course works when there is sun). The beds have duvet bedding with pure white cotton sheets. Each room has a sheltered balcony. All rooms have fibreglass insulation to the ceiling, walls and floor. Remember we are a mountain lodge and nights can be chilly. So come prepared with warm clothes. The master bedroom had a queen sized bed (2 x 2 m) with duvet bedding. The lounge has two single beds or settees. The master bedroom has en-suite bathroom and shower. Solar under-floor heating and solar hot water backed up by electric immersion heaters. The VIP rooms can therefore accommodate 4 people. All rooms have fibreglass insulation to the ceiling, walls and floor.The restaurant is a spacious area with a log fire centre piece. The kitchen is essentially swiss made, hygienic and ergonomic.In the evening we generally serve a set meal which is prepared by our master chef Teschome. Meals are normally international fare but we accommodate for vegetarian and other religious foods.All day long we serve an "A la carte" menu of Ethiopian and European food.
